Port Lincoln police have issued an on the spot fine to a 66 year old woman in the early hours of Sunday Morning.

Patrols stopped the driver just after midnight, as she was travelling along Proper Bay Road and performed a road side breathtest.


The 66-year-old returned an alleged blood alcohol reading of 0.062.


In further police news, three teens have been arrested following an assault at a Port Lincoln school early last week.

On Tuesday August 4th, Police received reports of an assault involving students from the Port Lincoln High School.

Police will allege that about 3.40pm, three teenage boys assaulted two other 16-year-old boys at the school.

Three Port Lincoln boys aged 14, 15 and 16 were charged with aggravated assault. They have been bailed to appear in the Port Lincoln Magistrates Court on 28 September.

Port Lincoln Police are seeking information from anyone who may have witnessed the incident and urge them to contact the Port Lincoln Police Station on 8688 3020.
