Cops punched, bitten at Brisbane taxi rank

Three police officers have been punched and bitten at an inner Brisbane taxi rank.

Police went to the Fortitude Valley rank shortly after midnight on Sunday after a report that two men were fighting.

It will be alleged that while being arrested one of the men punched and bit two of the officers before punched a third in the face.

A 24-year-old Nundah man is due to face the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday charged with two counts of serious assault and one count of assault.
