Paddy Lowe, the former F1 engineer for McLaren and current CEO of Zero Petroleum, came to town to assess potential sites for a new plant as well as discussing the Hydrogen Jobs Plan with council.
Zero Petroleum is at the forefront of producing carbon-neutral synthetic fuel, with the company’s flagship facility, Plant Zero.1 in England, the world’s first fully equipped synthetic fuel plant using just carbon dioxide and hydrogen.
Earlier this year, Zero Petroleum entered a Memorandum of Understanding with the South Australian government to explore investment opportunities for a new facility by 2026.
