A Whyalla Norrie resident is a bit more flush with cash than he was a week ago after winning Saturday’s X Lotto.
The anonymous winner held one of the seven Division One winning entries, taking home a total prize of over $700,000.
The ticket was a birthday gift from his mum, and he says he’ll be spoiling her as a token of appreciation, saying, “She’s my heartbeat, she’s everything to me.”

The winning ticket was purchased at George Avenue Deli in Whyalla Norrie.
