Teens Charged After Public Fight in Port Lincoln Store

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fight involving a group of teenage girls at a Port Lincoln shopping complex.

Just before 6pm on Sunday, 20 July, officers were called to a store on Edinburgh Street after reports of a fight inside the premises. However, the group had dispersed before patrols arrived.

Following further investigations, police attended a Port Lincoln home and arrested two girls in connection with the incident.

The girls, aged 13 and 14 from Ceduna, were charged with fighting in a public place and bailed to appear in the Port Lincoln Youth Court on 17 November.

Police say they are following positive lines of inquiry in relation to others involved and are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has mobile phone footage to come forward.
