Despite the recent rain in our region, much of South Australia has still had a much lower-than-average rainfall over the past year.
Data from the Bureau of Meteorology reveals that both the Mid North and upper Eyre Peninsula have had the least rainfall and the majority of record lows.
Ceduna recorded just 131 millimetres of rain in the past twelve months, well below its mean rainfall of 292 millimetres.
Minnipa also recorded just 185 millimetres in the past year, down 100 millimetres from its mean rainfall.
Reports by the ABC suggest that all agricultural areas across the state are suffering, as the dry autumn weather has delayed seeding.
