Turbulence for Rex Airlines as the aviation company has suspended share trading on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).
The ASX announced the halt yesterday after it was requested by the airline.
This comes as Rex prepares an announcement in response to a report in The Australian that they’ve sought financial assistance from experts at Deloitte.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has expressed concerns, saying the airline is particularly important for regional communities – especially those that are only serviced by Rex.
