A 25-year-old Port Lincoln man has been arrested and charged with drug trafficking, after being stopped on a modified e-bike early Saturday morning.
Around 3am on 19 July, police patrols stopped the man on Explorer Driver after he overtook a police vehicle at speed.
A search of the man allegedly uncovered methamphetamine, tools, a balaclava, and a stolen bank card.
He was arrested and charged with trafficking a controlled drug, unlawful possession, going equipped at night and traffic offences.
His bike was considered a vehicle due to its modifications and was impounded for 28 days.
The man was granted bail and is due to appear in the Port Lincoln Magistrates Court on 30 October.
