The Port Lincoln Football League’s women’s competition will come to a close for 2023 tonight.
Starting at 5:30pm at Centenary Oval, Lincoln South will take on the Peckers in the under 16 round, followed by the clash between Waybacks and the Tigers in the open round from 6:45pm.
The presentation night for the women’s competition will kick off tomorrow night at the Port Lincoln Hotel.
Football Operations Manager with the League, Quinn Dutschke, says the competition is still continuing to grow.
“This is only our second year of having a club based competition and we certainly started off really strong last year,” he said.
“That excitement is still there in our second year and we’ve had Tasman’s come on board with an open team, so it’s still continuing to grow which is really exciting.”
