Marble Range Football Club will rally behind former player Caleb Fielder this Saturday with a fundraiser during their game against Tasman Imperials at Wangary.

Caleb was diagnosed with a brain tumour the size of a grapefruit in May – just days before his 20th birthday.

It’s an incurable high-grade glioma and Caleb has undergone surgery and radiation therapy for treatment.

He’ll be commencing six months of chemotherapy in August, and will need to attend MRI scan appointments in Adelaide every three months for the rest of his life.

After Saturday’s game, Marble Range will hold their annual sheep races event, and will auction off a sheep to raise money for Caleb and his family.

There will be donation collection tins around the grounds and the game starts at 2:40pm.
