The Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal has awarded $2.3 million in grants to 176 rural communities across Australia.
In the largest Strengthening Rural Communities funding round on record, 18 SA community groups have shared in almost $200,000.
Successful recipients include Marble Range Community and Sports Centre for a new playground, while the District Council of Tumby Bay received almost $40,000 for a youth empowerment skate program.
