Port Lincoln community leaders will meet to discuss anti-social behaviour in the city, after a violent incident involving teenagers last month.
On March 23rd, a 15 year old girl was allegedly attacked by a group of girls known to her, leaving her with facial and hand injuries.
Mayor Diana Mislov, Flinders MP Sam Telfer and local Police commander Paul Bahr (all pictured) met last Friday for a briefing on the situation, with Ms Mislov in a statement raising concerns about whether there is adequate resourcing for police in areas such as Port Lincoln to address these sorts of incidents.
Ms Mislov says council representatives will be meeting with other community leaders from other service providers and government agencies this week to understand what further measures can be put in place to change this kind of anti-social behaviour.
