Kimba is looking ahead to the next decade, with the council unveiling an updated Urban Design Framework and Master Plan to guide future development.

The plan builds on major improvements already delivered across the town, including park and playground upgrades, new footpaths and tourism features.

It outlines a refreshed vision for the town centre, with a focus on improved visitor signage, better walking and cycling connections and greener streets.

Continued investment in community spaces also forms a key part of the plan, which aims to enhance liveability while supporting future growth.

Council says the updated framework has been shaped by community input, with further details to be shared as projects roll out.

The full plan is available on the Kimba Council website.
