Port Lincoln residents are invited to help shape the future of two iconic town precincts at a community drop-in session this Friday, 11 July.

The City of Port Lincoln has opened public consultation on their draft Master Plan for Lincoln Cove Marina and Billy Lights Point, with proposed wharf upgrades, improvements to the Parnkalla Trail and a new community pontoon.

Locals can meet the Project Team in person from 12pm to 3pm at the Port Lincoln Leisure Centre, where they will have the opportunity to share ideas, ask questions and provide feedback on the proposed developments.

The area supports a mix of residential, recreational, tourism and commercial fishing activities, and the Council is encouraging input from anyone who lives in, works in or visits the precinct.

Design consultants Oxigen have been engaged to lead the planning, which aims to address key issues and provide a clear vision for future development.

Feedback can be submitted online via the Council’s Engagement Hub until 10am on Friday 25 July.

A draft Master Plan will be released later this year for further public input before being finalised in early 2026.
