‘Foster and Kinship Carer Week’ marked with Whyalla Walk-a-thon

Whyalla residents will celebrate foster carers at a Foster Care Walk-a-thon this Sunday.  

To mark Foster and Kinship Carer Week, Centacare Catholic Country SA and Aboriginal Family Support Services have invited the whole community to attend.

There’ll be a prize for the most laps walked in 45 minutes, a free sausage sizzle, a raffle, and games for kids.

Participants will arrive at the Whyalla Wetlands at 10:45 for an 11am start for some fun in the sun, while also recognising the work done by foster carers in the community.
