Drivers urged to be more patient this Fatality Free Friday

Drivers across the region are being urged to be more patient and friendly on the roads as part of Fatality Free Friday.

This recommendation follows a 6% increase in the national road toll last year and new research that reveals 1 in 2 Australians have noticed an increase in aggressive behaviour.

CEO of the Australian Road Safety Foundation Russell White says we need a major shift in our behaviour and attitudes, starting with a simple ‘thank you wave’.
