The need for more housing on the Eyre Peninsula has again been brought to the table, following Office for Regional Housing meetings.
The office has visited a number of locations around the state, meeting with councils, developers and businesses to discuss challenges and housing opportunities.
The consultation has identified housing needs to support major projects including the Hydrogen Jobs Plan, along with worker accommodation for the grain and fishing industry in Port Lincoln and the Lower Eyre Peninsula.
The office is now in the process of recruiting staff to fast-track the increase in housing supply needed across SA.
