A Ceduna woman has been reported after allegedly being caught speeding twice at the same location within minutes.
Just after 11am on Wednesday, 23 July, a speed detection camera on Decres Bay Road recorded an MG station wagon travelling at 105km/h in a 60km/h zone.
Only 17 minutes later, the same vehicle was clocked at 94km/h at the same location.
Police were notified and attended the registered owner’s nearby address, where they spoke with the alleged driver – a 27-year-old local woman.
She was reported for excessive speed and exceeding the speed limit, received a six-month instant loss of licence, and had her vehicle impounded for 28 days.
She will be summonsed to appear in Ceduna Magistrates Court at a later date.
