The first matches of the season in the Port Lincoln Football League were played over the weekend, with Bostons coming out victors in a close game against Waybacks.
The Saturday afternoon match went down to the wire, with the Tigers winning 9.13.67 to Waybacks 9.11.65.
Lincoln South also started the season strong, winning 12.9.81 against Mallee Park 8.13.61.
In the first round of the Eastern Eyre Football League, Ports narrowly won against Central Eyre United, 11.12.78 to 11.9.75.
Cowell will verse Ranges tomorrow at Cowell Oval from 2:30pm.
And in round two of the Great Flinders League, the Blues are at the top of the ladder, winning 29.29.203 to Eyre United’s 3.4.22.
The Roo’s thrashed Cummins-Kapinnie winning 15.13.103 to 4.2.26 and it was a great weekend for United Yeelanna winning 19.12.126 to the Ramblers 13.5.83.
