Blood donations needed in Port Lincoln amid national shortage

Lifeblood is in Port Lincoln until Thursday this week and organisers are encouraging the community to roll up their sleeves.

Lifeblood spokesperson Zoe Ross says they’re grateful for all the support so far, but many donors have cancelled their appointments due to illness.

This is a national issue, with roughly 2000 appointments cancelled each week due to illness.
