Ceduna Area School and Streaky Bay Area School are two of eight schools trialling an Artificial Intelligence app as the software becomes a prominent feature in our lives.
The app was developed in partnership with Microsoft and will show students how to use AI software to support their studies.
The state government says this trial is crucial, as students need to learn how to use AI safely and how it fits into the jobs of the future.
Labor MP Blair Boyer says South Australia has embraced the technology, rather than attempting to ignore and ban it.
He says this puts South Australia on the cutting edge, leading the way on a national and global scale.
