A 72-year-old Port Lincoln man has lost his licence after being caught speeding more than 40 kilometres over the limit on the Lincoln Highway.
Tumby Bay police allegedly detected the man’s white sedan travelling at 157km/h in a 110km/h zone near Lipson just after 2:20pm on Thursday, July 17.
The driver was issued with an expiation notice for excessive speed, earning nine demerit points. He was also issued an instant six-month loss of licence.
