I love a good cup of coffee, it's like a cuddle in a cup... but I know it can also be bad for my Anxiety.
Caffeine tends to heighten anxiety for me, my heart starts pumping and Adrenalin kicks in uncontrollably when I am put under pressure.
I started drinking chamomile to help the inflammation for my hay fever. (Please do your research before having chamomile for hay fever symptoms, because it can actually make it worse,) but like a teaspoon of honey, some believe it can help counter the symptoms, which I have found to be true for me.
But drinking tea in the afternoon I have noticed I am far more relaxed and less anxious. I know Chamomile is a good relaxant before bed, but try it throughout your day to relax also, it may help ☺
