Ungarra History Trail Opening
Join the community in celebrating the official opening of the Ungarra History Trail on Friday 6 November 2026 at 9:30am at the Ungarra Hall.
Developed through a partnership between the Ungarra & Districts Hall and Progress Association, Ungarra Primary School and the District Council of Tumby Bay, the trail shares the stories, places and people that have helped shape Ungarra’s history.
As part of the event, students from Ungarra Primary School will showcase the research and discoveries they have made during their History Learning Expedition, with attendees invited to walk the trail and visit selected sites.
The opening ceremony is expected to conclude at approximately 10:30am, followed by a light morning tea at the school.
Community members and visitors are warmly invited to attend this special celebration of Ungarra’s rich heritage.
