Respect the Line Workshop: Preventing and Addressing Workplace S,exual Harassment

Workplaces should be safe places for everyone – free of sexual harassment. Change is needed in all industries, and in every workplace. With the right knowledge and tools, businesses can play a leading role in preventing workplace sexual harassment, discrimination and bullying.
 
The Port Lincoln Chamber is partnering with the Working Women’s Centre SA to deliver a workshop on preventing and tackling sexual harassment.
 
Respect the Line is a workshop designed to help local businesses understand their legal and ethical obligations and build skills to create safe and inclusive workplaces.
 
What the workshop will cover:
Defining workplace sexual harassment and its impacts, with clear examples
 
Understanding legal obligations, including the Positive Duty to prevent harassment
 
Understanding the structural and cultural causes of sexual harassment
 
Practical strategies for bystanders
 
What to do if you experience harassment or receive a disclosure
