AATTV historical presentation

On Monday 31st July at 7.00pm The President and the Committee of the Port Lincoln RSL Sub-Branch will be hosing a presentation of historical interest by 2 veterans from the Australian Army Training Team Vietnam (AATTV)

Mr Ken (Snow) Chester and Mr Mick Dolensky are visiting from Adelaide and have brought with them an historical collection of military interest to highlight their talk.

Both veterans serviced in the training team in Vietnam over the period 1968-1971. Serving as warrant officers their duty was to assist members of the South Vietnamese Army as well as indigenous highlanders, the Montagnards People, to refine their military skills and defence capabilities to protect their villages.

Every member of the AATTV were highly trained and experienced having served in many theatres of conflict prior to Vietnam including WW@, Korea the Malaya Emergency and the Indonesian Confrontation
