Katy Perry has nuged old Tay Tay off the top spot to become the highest paid woman in music of the year.
According to the Forbes list Katy Perry brought in $AU114 million last financial year pretty much thanks to her Witness: The Tour.
She played roughly 80 shows and raked in around $AU1.4 million for each show. Bonkers right??
Katy Perry also found time to act as a judge on American Idol which meant she earned somewhere around $AU27.5 million for that gig..
Taylor Swift came in second place on the list, taking home $A$110 million. This was mostly due to her triumphant return to social media with the launch of her Reputation album. The new release sold roughly two million copies worldwide in its opening week alone.
Number 3 on the list was Beyonce, who pulled in $82.5 million.
Pink was 4th with $71.5 million, Lady Gaga 5th with $68.7 million, Jennifer Lopez 6th, earning $64 million and Rihanna came 7th with $51.5 million.
