Robert Irwin joins Alex Warren on stage in Brisbane for a surprise confetti-button cameo.

American singer Alex Warren gave Brisbane fans an unexpected encore moment on Wednesday night, calling Australian wildlife conservationist and Dancing with the Stars champion Robert Irwin onto the stage at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre. Warren is in the country for his Finding Family on the Road World Tour. He had already played three Sydney shows, with Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth still ahead. The Brisbane date was the second of two nights at the venue.

Near the end of the set, Irwin was invited to press Warren’s “confetti button,” a tour tradition in which a fan or special guest gets invited to the stage to push a large red button on a brown pedestal and sends a burst of confetti across the stage.

The explosion landed during Fever Dream, and the pair hugged as the crowd applauded. Irwin kept bouncing beside Warren as paper filled the air, then dropped to the floor. Robert even did the worm before leaving the stage.
He later posted the clip with the caption: “I did the thing!!!!” and a message to Warren: “Cheers mate!”

Previously in March, Irwin appeared in the comic video announcing Warren’s Australia and New Zealand tour dates. Warren last toured Australia in August 2025 on the sold-out Cheaper Than Therapy run. His latest album, Wildchild, arrived on 28 August 2026. The earlier smash Ordinary, released in February 2025 after Warren’s rise from The Hype House, has now passed two billion Spotify streams.

You can’t always be in LA someone’s got to hold it down in Australia, Robert Irwin and Alex Warren have it covered!
Warren still has Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth to come. So, fans are wondering if any other stars will make a surprise appearance to push the famous confetti button.
