“I love my animals. They mean the world to me and my family,… A few years ago, I worked with Colossal and leveraged their non-invasive cloning technology through a simple blood draw of our family’s elderly dog before she passed…. [Colossal Biosciences] gave my family a second chance with a clone of our beloved dog.” – Tom Brady

Lua was a pit bull mix that Brady had adopted with his now ex-wife Gisele Bundchen. According to Colossal Biosciences the sample that Junie was cloned from was acquired several years ago before Lua died. Viagen Pets and Equine have previously been responsible for the cloning of previous celebrity pets including: Paris Hilton and Barbra Streisand.
