A refresh is on the way for the Streaky Bay Aerodrome, with the facility set to receive a $400,000 upgrade.
The facility is one of 42 projects across the country to receive a share of funding under Round 11 of the Federal Government’s Remote Airstrip Upgrade Program.
The new grant will go towards resealing the runway, taxiway and apron.

The aerodrome was built in the 1960s and is frequently used by both the Royal Flying Doctor Service and charter flights.
