Regional Event Fund Backs Five Eyre Peninsula Festivals

It’s a packed calendar of festivals on the way for the Eyre Peninsula, thanks to support from the State’s Regional Event Fund.

Five local events received funding – including Port Lincoln’s SALT Festival and the recently revived Tunarama.

Funding will also go to Cuttlefest in Whyalla, Ceduna’s Oysterfest and Rodeo by the Sea in Streaky Bay.

Tourism Minister Zoe Bettison said the events are key to encouraging travellers to stay longer in our tourism regions, and help put dollars into the pockets of local businesses.
