Two people have been arrested after a traffic stop in Port Lincoln led to the alleged discovery of illegal drugs.
Police stopped a Subaru station wagon on King Street just after 1am on Friday 27 June, after noticing the vehicle was displaying false registration plates.
Following inquiries, officers searched the vehicle and allegedly found four grams of methamphetamine and ice pipes.
A 33-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman, both from Mount Gambier, were arrested and charged with possess controlled drug and possess equipment for consumption of controlled drug.
Both were granted bail and are due to appear in the Mount Gambier Magistrates Court on 26 August.
