A truck caught fire on the Lincoln Highway overnight.
Four CFS crews with approximately 17 firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze, between Cowell and Whyalla.
The driver safely left the vehicle before the fire fully engulfed the cab of the truck.

Firefighters managed to contain the fire to the cab, preventing it from spreading to the connecting trailer carrying two cars.
The fire kept relighting due to heat, so crews used specialist equipment which aerates foam to extinguish the fire.
All lanes on the highway remained open, however SA Police were on scene to support with traffic control.
