Nick and Aaron Carter's sister, Leslie Carter, died on Tuesday, a publicist confirms to CBSNews.com. She was 25."Our family is grieving right now and it's a private matter. We are deeply saddened for the loss of our beloved sister, daughter, and granddaughter, Leslie Carter," the Carter family said in a statement. "We request the utmost privacy during this difficult time."She died in upstate New York, reports say. No further details were given about the cause of death.Leslie married her husband, Mike, in 2008 and gave birth to their daughter, Alyssa Jane Ashton, in April 2011, according to reports.She had a single on the 2001 "Shrek" soundtrack. The Carter family, including Leslie, starred in their own reality show on E! in 2006.
